Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced M/S Telemetry RN for a 36-hour night shift position requiring active MA licensure and prior traveler experience.

Details

• 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care
• Patient population includes cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psych, substance use disorder, GU, and GI cases
• Clinician to patient ratio of 1:5-6 on nights
• 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on straight night shifts (7p-7a)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to applicable units as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in one location plus 2 years of experience as a traveler
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Skilled in cardiac drips, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen administration
• Primary source license verification (NURSYS and BON) required within 30 days of start
