About the Role
Join a collaborative outpatient cardiology team where you’ll support patients across Cardiology Clinic, EP/Afib services, and Testing Center. This is a great opportunity to work in a specialized, patient-focused environment with a strong interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac-focused patient assessments & care coordination
- Provide pre & post-procedure education for cardiology and EP procedures
- Educate patients on cardiovascular conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes
- Triage symptoms such as arrhythmias and cardiac-related concerns
- Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists
- Support cardiac testing and imaging procedures (PET CT, etc.)
- Review labs, test results, and update patient care plans
- Assist with transition of care and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
✅ Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of RN experience (Cardiology or related setting)
- Active California RN License (Required)
- BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required)
- Experience in cardiac care, telemetry, or critical care preferred
- BSN preferred
Ideal Candidate
- Strong background in cardiac care & patient education
- Experience with telemetry and arrhythmia management
- Excellent communication & team collaboration skills
- Passion for outpatient and preventative cardiac care
