**Join Our Team as a Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to make a real impact in the world of cardiovascular care? - As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic procedures, including: - Temporary and permanent pacemaker placements - Circulatory support devices (e.g., IABP and Impella) **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and organize essential equipment and sterile trays for each procedure. - Collaborate with the procedure room team to position and monitor patients. - Calibrate and test transducers for accurate pressure readings. - Support physicians throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures. - Operate power injectors and related sterile support equipment. - Maneuver table controls as requested by physicians; radiology technologists will handle fluoroscopy. - Calibrate hemodynamic monitoring equipment and analyze hemodynamic data. - Calculate and record cardiac output and oximetry readings. - Maintain digital cine technology standards for patient imaging and records. - Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, and managing hemostatic closure devices. - Participate in managing inventory and preparation of necessary equipment. - Adhere to Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS) requirements. - Safely operate equipment and return supplies as needed. - Participate in on-call responsibilities as per organizational policy. - Apply radial access banding while ensuring hemostasis at the access site. - Recognize and interpret all cardiac arrhythmias. - Assist with maintaining and calibrating diagnostic and technical equipment. - Meet physical requirements, including lifting and standing for extended periods. - Tailor care to meet the needs of diverse patient populations. - Follow radiation safety standards in accordance with organizational policies. - Promote a professional environment reflective of our core values of Collaboration, Courage, Compassion, and Creativity. **Requirements:** - Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or related acute care area. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Completion of a CVT accredited program, or 2 years in a cardiac vascular laboratory. - Familiarity with computers, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile techniques. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite. **Education and Certifications:** - Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist or radiologic technologist program. - AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 3 months of employment. - Successful completion of the RCIS exam by CCI or Radiologic Technologist License within 1 year of hire. - Preferred: Licensed special procedures Radiologic Technologist. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
