Job Summary: The profession is registered nurse (RN) specializing in the Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular at a healthcare facility in Englewood, Colorado. This position involves providing high-level patient care in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU), supporting a team that manages complex cardiac and neuro patient populations. The role is designed for experienced RNs committed to delivering excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro population and medical ICU, prior Meditech EMR experience
Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional Information: The unit features advanced cardiac monitoring equipment, ventilators, IV pumps, and Swan Ganz catheters. Staff includes experienced nurses and support personnel working collaboratively in a 16-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients. The unit maintains 24/7 physician coverage including intensivists, neuro-intensivists, and trauma surgeons, with a focus on delivering cutting-edge patient care.
