Job Summary: The ICU Cardiovascular (Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular) nursing position is located in Tuscumbia, Alabama. This role involves providing specialized care in a high-acuity cardiac unit, requiring collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. The position demands professional competency and the ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Job Details:
Shift: Nights; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Associated degree in nursing, Alabama or compact state license (no temporary licenses accepted), at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty, and 2 years of total experience or 18 months under the highest level of license
Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, enrollment in or completion of additional specialized certifications such as American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and others as applicable
Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed. The team is committed to making the patient experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe environment.
