Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; ICU experience of at least 3 years; familiarity with titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, paralytics; experience with vents, trachs, telemetry interpretation; understanding of hemodynamics and pulmonary artery catheter setup and interpretation; transvenous pacing, cardioversion, TEE, chest tube insertions and maintenance; no specific certifications required, CCRN is recommended
Preferred Qualifications: Additional skills include experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Impella device, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
Additional Information: The position involves performing procedures such as cardioversion, central line insertion, EGD, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertions, pericardiocentesis, and thoracentesis. The ICU unit has all Navy or Navy and White scrubs, with no pullovers or hoodies, and adheres to specific uniform policies.
