Job Summary: The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular for a night shift position at a facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves providing critical care to patients with various cardiac and respiratory conditions, requiring advanced skills and certifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong ICU experience and have relevant procedural knowledge to deliver quality patient care.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Must have ACLS certification, Utah RN license at the time of submission, at least 2 years of ICU experience (considering 1 year with strong experience), cardiac nurse experience, and the ability to perform procedures such as rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, and arterial line placements
Preferred Qualifications: Outgoing personality and team-oriented approach are highly desirable
Float: Float rotation may be required to PCU or as a sitter anywhere in the hospital inpatient units
Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, and other ICU procedures such as bronchoscopy, intubation, chest tube placement, and central line placement. The unit has 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2 (with variations for higher acuity patients) and a staffing complement of 46. The documentation system used is EPIC.
