Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nurse position in a cardiothoracic intensive care unit located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized critical care to cardiac and thoracic surgery patients in a 20-bed unit. The position is scheduled for night shifts, starting on October 18, 2026, and continuing through January 16, 2027.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Kansas licensure; Nursys License/License/Certificate Verification; professional credentials; completion of Ascension resume, Ascension profile, and two professional references; competency in skills checklist
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a cardiothoracic intensive care setting is highly desirable
  • Additional Information: The role involves caring for cardiac and thoracic surgery patients within a 20-bed unit, following standard operating procedures (SOP) and hospital policies. Candidates must be adaptable to night shift rotations and committed to providing high-quality critical care.
