Job Summary
Critical Care Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular, Milwaukee, WI. This position involves providing specialized care to cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients in a Level II Trauma Center. The role requires demonstrating expertise in invasive line monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and vent management within a Magnet designated facility.

Job Details

• Position Description: Critical Care Nurse with experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units, specifically ICU - OH, in a Level II Trauma Center. The facility is Magnet designated, with a 30-bed ICU unit serving cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, minimum of 3 years of ICU experience including 1 year in CVICU, proficiency in invasive line monitoring, ventilator management, and EPIC electronic medical record experience.
• Schedule: Day and night shifts available, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with a six-week schedule cycle starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/06/2027.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes one day of facility and unit-specific training with preceptor support following neo. The unit operates with a dedicated CVICU intensivist, hospitalist on call 24/7, and other specialist support. No on-call requirement, with every other weekend rotation and 1-2 holiday shifts per contract. Scrub color: any solid, professional color. Parking details provided, shuttle service available during day shifts.
