Job Summary The Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) RN is a critical care professional specializing in adult and geriatric patient care within a cardiovascular intensive care setting. Based in the healthcare facility, this role involves providing advanced critical care for patients with complex cardiac conditions, including cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, and rhythm disturbances. The position requires adaptability to rotating day and night shifts.
Job Details
Position Description: ICU Cardiovascular RN - Rotating D/N - 36 hours per week; shifts include 3x12-hour rotating day and night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, starting on December 14, 2026, for a 13-week contract.
Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: RN license in Maryland or a Compact state; CPR, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications; current BLS and ACLS training required; minimum 2 years of clinical experience in cardiovascular critical care; ability to manage adult and geriatric patients.
Schedule: Rotating day and night shifts, 36 hours weekly, starting 12/14/2026.
Additional Responsibilities: Willingness to float within the specialty, including lower acuity units, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification, prior experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers, community hospital background, and travel experience preferred.
Submission Requirement: Candidates must meet all certification and licensure requirements and be available to start as scheduled.
