Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) ICU OH (Ohio) The organization is seeking experienced ICU RNs to provide patient care in a cardiac, emergency, and critical care environment. The position involves working in a 30-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, providing specialized nursing services to patients with complex cardiac conditions, including recent experience with open-heart procedures and mixed ICU populations. The role requires proficiency in telemetry and critical care skills to support patient recovery and safety.

Position: ICU RN Cardiovascular, Critical Care Nursing
Education & Experience: No minimum experience required; however, candidates must have recent experience with open-heart procedures and mixed ICU patients.
Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6:45 am to 7:15 pm, every other weekend, minimum 36 hours per week
Position Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to Cardiac ICU patients, including those with recent open-heart surgeries
Monitor and interpret telemetry, GE monitors, and ventilator management
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists who are in-house 24/7
Maintain competency with Cerner charting system and unit-specific protocols
Additional Information:
Proctored Dysrhythmia Test required on day one, pass/fail
Unit orientation includes 1 day of unit-specific training
Float to tele or med-surg units as needed
Hospital policy allows cancellation of up to four shifts per 13-week assignment
No RT or RN team in place for on-site assistance
Candidate must be willing to wait for license verification and submit license to the organization
