Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) registered nurses are needed at the healthcare facility in a Fast-paced environment. The role involves providing advanced patient care for a diverse patient population, including young adults through geriatrics with conditions such as sepsis, stroke, STEMI, COVID, and neurosurgery. The position emphasizes critical thinking, bedside report, and collaborative teamwork to deliver high-quality care.
Job Details
Location: The healthcare facility expects candidates to be within 50 miles, with a driver's license required at submittal for distance verification.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
Additional Responsibilities: Performing bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, troubleshooting equipment, interpreting telemetry strips, and titrating medications such as sedation, paralytics, pressors, and antihypertensives.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
Schedule Details: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 48 hours weekly.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
