We are looking for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to support cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures in a fast-paced procedural environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in multiple roles, including scrub, monitor, and circulate, and has strong experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Function effectively in the scrub, monitor, and circulating roles.
• Scrub and operate fluoroscopy during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Monitor and interpret procedural data and provide appropriate patient care throughout procedures.
• Assist with moderate sedation under the direct supervision of the physician when applicable.
• Start IVs and administer medications, contrast, and IV fluids as directed.
• Operate angiographic and digital X-ray equipment while maintaining patient safety.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient and procedural information in the electronic medical record and imaging systems.
• Maintain inventory and accurately document procedure charges.
• Follow established protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with training and precepting new employees and students.
• Provide care to adult patients age 18+ with varying levels of acuity.
• Participate in required on-call coverage.

Position Details:

• Role: Cath Lab Technologist
• Locals accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Monday–Friday, four 10-hour day shifts
• Typical hours: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Schedule may vary based on department needs
• On-call: 1–2 days per week and 1–2 weekends per month
• Weekend call runs Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Dysrhythmia exam not required

Preferred Experience:

• Scrubbing and fluoroscopy experience
• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Peripheral vascular procedures
• Impella
• High-risk PCI
• ECMO

Required Certifications/Licensure:

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• ARRT
• ODH licensure
• BLS
• ACLS
• ACLS or PALS requirements may vary based on specialty assignment

The ideal candidate is a confident Cath Lab Tech who can jump into different roles, work well with physicians and the procedural team, and handle both routine and high-acuity cardiovascular cases. Candidates with experience in Impella, high-risk PCI, ECMO, and complex cardiac or peripheral vascular procedures are especially strong fits.
