Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations, including active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab with specialized equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images, position patients, and instruct for examinations, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Provide efficient clinical care with strong technical and organizational skills; apply critical thinking during complex procedures.
- Mentor and train staff on technical skills; contribute input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff as appropriate.
- Support before-, during-, and after-care of invasive, interventional, and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including device implantation/removal and ablations as applicable.
- Maintain documentation, quality control, and adherence to safety, regulatory, and patient-care standards in a high-acuity interventional setting.

Requirements
- Active licensure and certification as required for cardiovascular radiologic procedures (as described in the Job Notes).
- Relevant experience as a senior-level technologist in special procedures or cath lab environments (as described in the Job Notes).
- Education consistent with the Sr. Special Procedures Technologist role (as described in the Job Notes).
- Ability to work in a hospital/interventional lab setting with the capacity for high-level patient care and critical thinking.
- Availability to work a rotating 4x10 schedule and travel assignment as specified.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork to coordinate with physicians and staff during procedures.
