Responsibilities
- Perform CVIS and radiology imaging tasks, with potential Cath Lab responsibilities, including equipment operation and image capture.
- Prepare and assist patients and the interventional team before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures; maintain sterile technique and safety standards.
- Operate imaging systems and document procedures, ensuring accurate data entry in the charting system (EPIC) per unit workflow.
- Support room turnover, manage supplies, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to optimize patient care and imaging quality.
- May float within the hospital to support the CVIS/Radiology unit as workload requires, within scope of practice.
Requirements
- NY State license in hand at the time of submission/start
- ARRT certification required
- Minimum 2 years CVIS / Radiology Technologist experience
- EKG testing: Relias EKG exam required within 72 hours of signing
- RCIS preferred but not mandatory
- Local residency restriction: permanent address within 50 miles will not be accepted
- Ability to work in a hospital CVIS / Radiology setting and adapt to CN/ Cath Lab workflows
- Travel experience preferred but not required
- Charting experience with EPIC is helpful
