Travel Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) - $2,206 per week in Wadesboro, NC

Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: BLS required Certifications: ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RCIS accepted Must-Have: Ability to work independently and good time management skills Description: We are seeking a Cardiac Sonographer. Our facility has a capacity of 15 beds, with an 8-bed emergency department attached. The average patient load is 4-8 echocardiograms per day. We welcome first-time travelers. Patient types include adult inpatients, emergency department cases, and outpatients. Experience with adult transthoracic echocardiography, contrast studies, Doppler, and color flow imaging is required. No transesophageal echocardiograms or stress echocardiograms will be performed. Additional skills in precepting other echo technicians would be helpful but are not a firm requirement. Remote leadership support is available within the department. Radiology services are available 24/7. Limited transporter availability should be noted. We utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) system and PACS for imaging. The unit is equipped with Phillips EPIQ ultrasound technology. Flexibility to float to nearby facilities may be required based on departmental needs. There is no weekend rotation, on-call duties, or holiday expectations. Requests for time off will be approved for up to 7 days. Scrub color is galaxy blue scrub tops with black scrub pants. We emphasize a culture of collaboration and independent work. Essential qualifications include RDCS or RCS certification.
