Job Title: Echocardiographer Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: RCS or RDCS, BLS Must-Have: - 2-D Echo - 3-D Echo - Bubble Study - Color Doppler - Diastology - Imaging with Contrast Agents - M-Mode - Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) Description: Perform 2-D M-mode and cardiac Doppler, exercise echo, and TEE procedures. Assist in the preparation of contrast studies. Perform clerical duties and enter charges for services. Prepare reports and provide after-hour and weekend coverage on a rotational basis. Experience performing procedures on patients in ICU or ED settings is required. Travel experience is required for this position. Certification requirements include ARDMS and AHA certifications. Additional skills required include Pharmacologic Stress Echo and Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area techniques.
