Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an inpatient care coordination role requiring EPIC experience and a CA RN license.

Details

• Inpatient Care Coordinator role within the Case Management unit of an acute hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Performs discharge planning assessments and utilization review, including InterQual screening and transfer clinical appropriateness reviews

Requirements

• Active CA RN license (permanent, current Nursys record required at time of consideration)
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Recent and required EPIC charting system experience
• Experienced Case Manager with strong discharge planning and utilization review skills
• Psych-social assessment skills required
• Acute hospital setting experience required
• BSN preferred
• Valid driver's license with proof of current, permanent address
• Two professional references required at supervisor level or above (Charge Nurses not accepted)
• Proof of vaccinations required for consideration

Additional Information

• Coordinates inpatient discharge planning and utilization review activities
• Screens transfers for clinical appropriateness using InterQual criteria
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at the local rate
• Maximum of 7 days RTO required at time of consideration; no RTO accepted after submission
