Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Eureka, California – Northern California coastal region

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), every other weekend required. Caseload up to 25 patients. No call required. Assignment duration of 13 weeks.

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital case management experience required
• Acute care experience must be current within the last year
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with HMOs, IPAs, advance directives, POLST, and protective services processes
• Proficiency in discharge planning, care coordination, appeals and denials, and prior authorizations
• Knowledge of CMS guidelines, DRG, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards
• Experience across multiple patient populations: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• First-time travelers accepted with clinical approval
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
