Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Day shift, either 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour shifts. Shift times vary between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule required. 72 guaranteed hours per 2-week period.

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license required (must be in hand for offer)
• Minimum 1-2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification preferred
• ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
• Experience with discharge planning, utilization review, and care coordination
• Knowledge of InterQual criteria, medical necessity determination, and appeals/denials processes preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Willingness to float within case management services as needed
