Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: 5x8 Day shifts, Monday through Friday with every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule. Shift times vary between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 72 guaranteed hours per 2-week period. 13-week assignment with potential extension up to 1 calendar year.

Highlights:

• Work at a prestigious Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 407 staffed beds and Level II Trauma designation
• Manage a caseload of approximately 30 patients focusing on discharge planning and care coordination
• Collaborate with comprehensive interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic electronic medical record system with modern technology and communication support
• Free parking and scrubs provided by the facility
• Serve diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license required (pending licenses may be screened but license must be in hand for offer)
• Minimum 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification preferred
• ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
• Experience with InterQual criteria, Milliman guidelines, and medical necessity determinations preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Willingness to float within case management services as needed
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
