Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Eureka, California – Northern California coastal region

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), every other weekend required. Patient caseload approximately 20 patients. No call required. Float to similar units based on departmental needs.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital case management experience required
• Acute care experience must be current within the last year
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with HMOs, IPAs, advance directives, POLST, and protective services processes
• Proficiency in discharge planning, care coordination, benefits eligibility, prior authorizations, and appeals/denials
• Knowledge of CMS guidelines, DRGs, HIPAA regulations, and Joint Commission standards
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
