Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Pediatric Case Manager – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (Monday-Friday business hours with weekend rotation). Shift times vary between 07:00-17:00. Weekend coverage required every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule. Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period.

Highlights:

  • Work at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 407 staffed beds and Level II Trauma designation
  • Focus on pediatric case management and discharge planning with a caseload of approximately 30 patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams
  • Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
  • 13-week travel assignment with potential for extension up to 1 calendar year
  • Free parking provided

Requirements:

  • Active Alaska RN license required prior to offer
  • Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
  • Acute care hospital experience required (behavioral health experience does not qualify)
  • Pediatric and/or NICU experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • BLS certification preferred
  • ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
  • Willingness to float within case management services as needed
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
