Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

  • Multimodality lab covering Cath Lab, vascular, IR, EP, and Neuro procedures across 3 labs
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as needed
  • Uses Cerner EHR and Merge hemodynamic monitoring system
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday, 4x10-hour shifts, 06:30-17:00
  • Requires flexibility with 7-10 days of call per month

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures
  • Communicate patient condition to physician before, during, and after procedures
  • Prepare, implement, and document plan of care
  • Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures
  • Set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures
  • Radius rules apply, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
