- Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/PACU position requiring critical care experience and familiarity with cath lab recovery, with day shifts and no call or weekend requirements.Details
  - Works in the Cath Lab PACU within a hospital setting
  - Patients recovering from procedures ranging from general anesthesia to moderate sedation
  - Groin site management and cath lab recovery are central to the role
  - Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
  - No on-call responsibilities
  - No weekend requirements
  - Epic charting experience preferredRequirements
    - Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
    - Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
    - Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required
    - Critical care experience required
    - Familiarity with cath lab recovery, including groin site management
    - Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this positionAdditional Information
      - Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler at this facility
      - No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
      - Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
      - Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
