Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cath Lab to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform right and left heart catheterizations, including diagnostic and complex procedures.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a busy Cath Lab environment with 5 rooms plus a Hybrid OR.
• Manage equipment used in procedural sedation and scrub procedures.
• Provide on-call coverage 1-2 nights per week and one weekend in a six-week period.
• Administer procedural sedation, ensuring patient safety and monitoring critical signs.
• Work effectively under pressure during peak hurricane season to provide disaster response if necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in a Cath Lab setting, 2 years preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications; must provide a radiation badge.
• Hold a South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license at the start of the assignment.
• Previous charge nurse experience and proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias are required.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
• Willingness to adapt to potential emergency response roles during hurricane season.
