Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN to circulate, scrub, and monitor procedural cases, requiring an OH or compact RN license and prior cath lab experience.

Details

• Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Circulates, scrubs, and monitors procedural cases
• On-call requirement, details to be discussed at interview

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be active at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the cath lab specialty required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the specialty, from an assignment worked in the past 12 months
• No co-worker references will be considered
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy under a temporary exemption
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• PBDS assessment is waived for this role
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Facility does not accept candidates with any background check or license hits
• Extensions with the client available for up to 18 months, followed by a required 6-month break
• Permanent candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
