Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of a hospital setting
• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac procedures
• Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 15:00
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Assess, prepare, and position patients for cardiac procedures
• Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as needed
• Prepare, implement, and document plans of care
• Communicate patient condition to physicians before, during, and after procedures
• Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac procedures
• Set up and manage equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures
