Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Santa Monica, CA 90404

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Santa Monica, California – beachside acute care hospital

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30); 4 weekend shifts per contract; on-call rotation required (approximately 10 shifts per 6-week period including one weekend, 30-minute response time)

Highlights:

• 266-bed acute care hospital in a beautiful beachside location
• Daily census of 3 scheduled cases, up to 9 cases per day including emergency procedures
• 4-room Cath Lab utilizing Epic charting system and advanced equipment including Impella LVAD, IABP, and intravascular ultrasound
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation
• Interventional radiology experience is a plus
• 13-week travel assignment with potential for extension

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted; must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including left/right heart catheterization, coronary angiograms, PTCA, angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies
• Proficiency with IV vasopressors, antihypertensives, thrombolytics, procedural sedation, IABP placement/removal, and dysrhythmia management
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Clean background check required; previous travel experience preferred but first-time travelers not accepted
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
