Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Catheterization Lab – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Call shifts required during the week and on weekends. Weekend call coverage includes every 6th weekend from Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM. Weekday call shifts run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This is a 91-day travel assignment.

Highlights:

• Work in a comprehensive cardiac catheterization lab with 3 procedure rooms serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, and advanced cardiac device placements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Gain experience with advanced procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, Impella insertion, IABP placement, and left atrial appendage closure
• 40 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding
• Opportunity to work at a Trauma Level II facility with Epic charting system

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac catheterization lab nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Extensive skills required including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, procedural sedation monitoring, circulating and scrubbing procedures, cardiac device placement, vascular interventions, and emergency medication administration
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Ability to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
