Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN with experience in cardiology to deliver exceptional care to adult and geriatric populations. The ideal candidate will provide holistic support in a surgical and procedural environment, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients throughout cardiovascular procedures.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Days, 0800-1630 + call rotation. On call required every 2-3rd weekend, 1-3 times per week
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2850 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes throughout all cardiovascular procedures.
• Provide holistic support, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients in a surgical and procedural environment.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, offering continuous updates and timely communication regarding patient status before, during, and after procedures.
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, calibrated, and ready for use.
• Manage supplies and inventory, gathering case-specific materials and making sure the Cath Lab team has everything required for efficient workflow.
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring accurate interpretation and rapid response to changes.
• Continuously assess and document patient condition while they are in the Cardiovascular Lab, maintaining thorough and precise records.
• Support quality initiatives, participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License
• Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area

Preferred:

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN)
