Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a Magnet, Level II Trauma hospital, requiring an active AK RN license and 2 years of cath lab experience.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of an acute care hospital
• 4x10 day shift schedule, 7:00am-5:00pm
• On-call required one day per week plus every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800 to Monday 0730)
• Approximately one Saturday per month required as part of scheduled shifts
• May float to EP or IR units within scope
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active AK RN license required (must be in hand for auto offer; pending license accepted otherwise)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in cath lab skills such as ACT monitoring, sheath removal/monitoring, procedural sedation monitoring, interventional catheterizations, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Must provide full SSN and DOB for compliance
• Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem)

• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Travelers may be required to float to sister facilities within the state
