Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring an active IN or compact RN license and call coverage including weekends.

Details

• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call requirement of 10-11 days per month, including weekends
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Floating required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license required in hand
• AHA or RQI certifications accepted and must be current at time of consideration
• Minimum 18 months of relevant RN experience required
• Cerner EMR charting experience required
• Nursing degree must be from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
• Two supervisor references required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local IN resident candidates are accepted
• Former IU Health perm or PRN employees must wait 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Current or past IU Health travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment must take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: 3 months for out-of-state residents and 6 months for in-state residents
• RTO requests of 5 days or less are auto-approved
• Candidates must work 2 of 3 major holidays
