Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, working 4 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Days off during the week will vary, and there is an on-call requirement for these positions.

Job Description

The Invasive Cardiology department focuses on a range of procedures including catheterizations, electrophysiology cases, and complex vascular interventions. The team consists of skilled cardiologists, nurses, and technologists dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. The department is equipped with three procedural labs and a dedicated prep and recovery area.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Administering and monitoring procedural sedation.
• Managing patient care in the prep and recovery area.
• Participating in advanced STEMI and cardiac arrest treatments.
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in invasive cardiology.
• Current certifications in ACLS & BLS are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting systems is preferred.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical/religious exemptions considered.
