Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Catheterization Lab – Olympia Fields, IL 60461

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois

Schedule: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with on-call rotation every 2-3 weekends and 1-3 weekdays per week. 90-day assignment with two positions available.

Highlights:

• Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations throughout cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring accurate interpretation and rapid response
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide continuous updates on patient status
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is properly functioning and calibrated
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational excellence
• Provide holistic support addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs in a procedural environment

Requirements:

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care setting
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required upon hire and must maintain throughout assignment
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
