Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position in an acute care setting, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and the ability to take STEMI call.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit within an acute care hospital setting
• High-volume lab performing 15–20 procedures per day
• Procedures include peripheral vascular intervention, cardiac intervention, cardiac rhythm management, EP, and structural heart
• Required to take STEMI call
• Four 10-hour day shifts per schedule; 6a–4:30p when not on call, 7a–5:30p when on call
• On-call required once per week; when call falls on Friday, coverage extends through the weekend (Friday–Monday)
• On-call weekend rotation is approximately every 6th weekend
• Schedule runs on a six-week rotation with a built-in four-day weekend
• Charting system: Cerner

Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana (IN) or a Compact state currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• EP experience is strongly preferred
• Ability and willingness to take STEMI call

Additional Information

• Experience with structural heart procedures is not required for this position
• Flexibility to cover additional on-call shifts as needed is expected
• BSN is not required for this position
