What You'll Need:
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent imaging certification.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI preferred. Candidates without RCIS may be considered if other required experience is met.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting with interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular, or interventional radiology procedures required.
- Experience with IVUS/DFR, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and thrombectomy procedures preferred.
- Hands-on experience with GE Innova fluoroscopy systems or similar angiography suites preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required. American Heart Association credentials preferred.
- State-specific licensure as required for practice in Texas.
- Ability to meet on-call responsiveness. Must be within 30 minutes of the facility for call response time.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab, 2 labs on main campus.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift hours: 0700–1730.
- Typical day shift staffing: 4 RNs and 4 Techs.
- On-call requirement: 12–15 days per month; willingness to pick up call expected.
- Floating requirement: May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
- EMR system: Meditech.

- Procedures commonly performed: left/right heart catheterization, peripheral angiograms, coronary and peripheral atherectomy, port/permcath placements, embolizations, Impella and balloon pump insertions, STEMI response, and PE thrombectomy.
- Typical lab equipment: GE Innova fluoroscopy tables and related interventional tools.
- Patient ratios: not applicable; team-based coverage in a two-lab setting.
- Best personality fit: hard working, team-oriented, able to perform in a fast-paced environment and willing to accept call responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications (Client-specific)
- Minimum 2 years' Cath Lab hospital experience with interventional procedures (required).
