Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,231 per week in Sarasota, FL

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: Relevant certifications preferred Must-Have: - Cath lab experience - Experience with Impella, IABP, and vents Description: The Cardiac Cath Lab operates with 2 labs and a team of 10 staff members. Each lab typically has 1 or 2 RNs and 1 or 2 techs per shift, totaling up to 3 staff members per case. During night shifts, staff work on call with a 3-man team. The patient-to-staff ratio is 1:1 during procedures. Common procedures performed include LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM, Impella, and IABP. Ideal candidates are independent and possess a strong work ethic. A positive attitude and a willingness to work hard are essential traits. Candidates with vascular or peripheral intervention experience and EP experience are preferred. The department utilizes GE EMR and Meditech systems. Team members are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with facility employees.
