Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years of experience required License: Must have South Carolina license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process) Must-Have: - Cath Lab experience - Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor Description: The Cath Lab Tech will work day shifts of 10 hours but may extend as needed to complete procedures. The daily caseload per tech includes 4 to 5 labs with approximately 20 cases handled per day. On-call requirements include one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month, with additional call shifts and evening shifts weekly. Holidays may be required as needed. Travelers should be aware they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June to November. Candidates are encouraged to pose inquiries related to the job's requirements and responsibilities. The position involves working in an acute care hospital environment, focusing primarily on diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Technical skills required include accurate monitoring and execution of various cardiac procedures such as coronary interventions and catheterizations. The role will not involve floating between service lines or sister facilities. Local candidates may be accepted on a case-by-case basis at a lower rate. All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application. The facility can call off 1 shift every 2 weeks, with guidelines for guaranteed hours provided.
