Invasive Cardiovascular Technologists are allied health professionals who perform diagnostic and interventional procedures at the direction of interventional cardiologists. The technologist collects and records subjective and objective data, operates imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and assists with catheter-based interventions and peripheral vascular studies. The role demands adherence to procedural protocols, sterile technique, and patient safety standards.
