The unit has 125 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. The staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability. The equipment utilized includes GE core equipment. The documentation system used is Mac Lab and Meditech. The scheduling requirements are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30 and call every other week. Floating policy includes non-invasive, invasive, and interventional radiology. Experience with patient care preferred. Advanced skills required include multitasking, high-level communication, and a team approach. Procedures performed on the unit include Left Heart Catheterization, Right Heart Catheterization, and PCI. The facility operates as a 24-hour STEMI center. Implants performed include Loop Recorders, Pacemakers, and ICDs. Specialty equipment includes IABP, IMPELLA, OCT, IVUS, and FFR. Dress code requires red or black scrubs or hospital-laundered blue scrubs.
