Job Title: Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: 1 year License: South Carolina RN License preferred Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS, RCIS/RCES preferred, ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) acceptable Must-Have: Experience in Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab. Experience in Pediatric/Adult Transplant, R/L Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, Valve Placement. EP experience preferred. Clienttion badge provided by agency required. Candidates must be able to accommodate call shifts (8-10 per month), including weekend coverage. Description: The position requires experience in a pediatric cath lab. Candidates will perform procedures on congenital heart patients. They will conduct heart cath procedures which may include biopsy, balloon, stents, and valve replacements. Candidates should be familiar with both pediatric and adult cases. Traveler will be assigned to emergency response teams. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All RTO must be included in advance, with no exceptions. Compliance requirements for submission must be fulfilled prior to start date. Hurricane season may affect assignments, and travelers should be aware of this. Labs must be completed within specified timeframes. Modules are non-billable, averaging 4 hours.
