Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,446 per week in Orange Park, FL

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:30-18:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 Years License: RCIS or RCES or RT(R) Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Scrub for LHC/RHC/PCI/STEMI/Peripherals. - Ability to monitor patients. Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. The traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation. The unit has approximately 370 beds. Equipment includes GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, and Penumbra. Documentation is managed through a specific EMR system. There are 4-10 hour shifts weekly. Floating may be required to support in prep/recovery area as needed. On-call schedule consists of 2 call teams with approximately 15-18 days per month. Procedures performed on this unit include diagnostic left heart catheterization, PCI, STEMI, stroke management, carotid stenting, and peripheral diagnostic and intervention. The work environment features newer procedure rooms and equipment. A dedicated charge nurse is available for the flow of the day. Staff members enjoy a friendly culture and supportive management. The area offers a variety of outdoor activities, including golf courses and trails. There is a well-known fall festival in the area.
