Description: This is a contract position for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician. The contract duration is 13 weeks. The daily shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Call is required, and distribution is shared among staff. The unit features three operating cath lab rooms, with two being EP compatible. Staffing typically includes two RNs and two CV techs per case. The unit is equipped to perform a variety of procedures, including catheterizations, PCI, and EP studies, among others. Candidates must be team-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Scrub colors required include royal blue or black. Candidates with RCIS or Cardiovascular Nurse certifications will be given preference. The unit has a strong reputation, demonstrating excellent outcomes and low mortality rates for procedures performed.
