Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,463 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years of experience required License: South Carolina license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process) Must-Have: Cath Lab experience, proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor Description: The Cath Lab Tech will work four 10-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 17:30. Shifts may vary as procedures continue until complete. The tech will be responsible for running 4 to 5 labs per day with a case load of around 20 cases daily. On-call requirements include one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month, along with a call shift and evening shift each week. Holidays will be worked as needed. Floating between service lines is not required. Each tech must have experience in Cath Lab settings and must be proficient in various cardiac procedures. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT or RCIS. A radiation badge is mandatory and must be provided by the agency. Candidates must adhere to a local radius rule of 60 miles. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may receive a lower bill rate. Please ensure all time off requests are included at the time of submission. Daily patient ratios and additional unit details specify a focus on adults and geriatrics. The workload will involve diagnostic and interventional coronary catheterization, vascular work, and various cardiac procedures.
