Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,463 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: 2+ years of experience License: South Carolina license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process) Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor Description: The Cath Lab Tech will work four 10-hour day shifts, from 07:00 to 17:30, with schedule variations based on procedure completion. Each tech will manage a daily caseload of 20 cases, running 4 to 5 labs per day with 2 CVT per lab. On-call requirements include one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and one evening shift per week. Holidays may be required as needed. Travelers will not float between service lines or to sister facilities. The position requires experience in cath lab procedures. Ability to perform coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures is essential. A radiation badge is required; it must be provided by the agency. All remote time off must be disclosed at the time of submission. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. Travelers should be aware of potential assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Candidates should have experience with current technologies and procedures in a cath lab setting.
