This role supports both diagnostic and interventional procedures, with a strong focus on patient safety, technical excellence, and teamwork. Cath Lab procedures include left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), and Impella device placement and support. Interventional radiology procedures include GI bleed embolizations, pulmonary embolism thrombectomies, kyphoplasties, drain placements, port placements, and additional procedures as required. Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring during Cath Lab and interventional radiology procedures. Prepare and maintain sterile fields while operating imaging equipment and ancillary devices. Assist physicians with device preparation, placement, and troubleshooting. Respond to emergent cases while on-call. Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards. Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.
