Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required certifications Certifications: ARRT, RCIS, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have interventional experience. Description: The cardiac cath lab has 3 rooms with a total of 11 staff members. The day shift consists of 1 charge tech, 3 techs, and 3 nurses who work 4/10 hour shifts. The night shift has 3 on-call staff members. The patient care ratio is 3 staff members per case. Typical equipment used includes Phillips and Siemens. The EMR systems used are MERGE, Hemo, and Meditech Expanse. Candidates with interventional experience will be prioritized. Typical procedures performed include EPS, PVI, PPM LT and RT HC, PCI, IR, and vascular procedures. The best personality fit is someone who is willing to educate younger staff. On-call duties will require at least 10 shifts per month. Surgical scrubs will be provided.
