Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,502 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience License: Must be willing to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), RCIS or RCES Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience. Candidates must hold BLS certification. Candidates must be ARRT (R), RCIS, or RCES certified. If they have RCIS or RCES, they must be willing and able to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado before starting work. Description: The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting in various cardiac procedures. Typical procedures performed include LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic, and intervention. Experience with pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEE, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests is preferred. The Cath Lab has 3 holding bays and 2 Cath suites, staffed by 9 members. The patient-to-staff ratio is 3:1. The Cath Lab utilizes GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab EMR. Team members are expected to take on-call responsibilities as part of the rotating schedule. On-call duties are shared evenly across a 4-week rotation, usually amounting to 8-12 days.
