Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must possess BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications. Candidates must be competent in Special Procedures and GE Innova. Description: The Cath Lab has 4 rooms with one patient per room. There are 22 staff members consisting of RNs and Techs. Day shift includes 1 Charge RN, Director, and 4 staff members per room, totaling 16 per shift. Night shift consists of an on-call team with 3 members per call team, totaling 7. Patient ratios are set at 1:1. All rooms are equipped with GE equipment. The EMR used is Meditech and MacLab. The unit performs various procedures, including Cardiac Catheterizations, Cerebral Angiograms, stenting, and Balloon procedures. The environment is fast-paced and requires flexibility and adaptability to unit needs. The ideal candidate is a team player with a focus on patient care and critical thinking skills. Dress Code: Red and gray scrubs are required in the Cath and EP Labs, with unit scrubs permitted.
